SERVICE HISTORY

In conjunction with Shared Services Management team create and cultivate the culture of process improvement.

  • Implement lean process improvement, and synergy and efficiency plans, within the Shared Services team of almost 300 people, including RTP, IT, HR, Financial Transaction Processing, Financial control and Procurement.
  • Coach, mentor and influence at all levels so as to affect the required culture of continuous improvement within Shared Services.
  • Facilitate the up skilling of various teams in the principles, philosophies and tools of Lean and/or Six Sigma and other related methodologies.
  • Set-up, coordinate and direct continuous improvement activities across cross functional teams keeping the sustainability of improvements in mind and demonstrate the delivery of timely results. Engage with teams and individuals in a positive and constructive manner and support and facilitate teams in process mapping and the delivery of change.
  • Work with the Shared Service Business Unit customers to ensure end to end improvements and efficiencies are delivered. Engage directly with customer groups to update and gather feedback.
  • Build and develop a network of contacts and reference sites to ensure ongoing industry developments and improvements form part of the ongoing Shared Services service offering.
  • Identify, maintain and coordinate the elements that lead to financial success.
  • Collaborate with finance team to determine impact and implications of various options and recommend the best course for project delivery.
  • Accountable for management of financial risk and opportunities across multiple project phases and delivery groups.
  • Facilitate the development of a Cost Benefit Analysis (CBA)
  • Overall responsible and act as a Change Agent for Lean Manufacturing implementation for the site.
  • Ensure common Lean tools are being deployed across the site with one look and feel.

  • Lead scorecard/key metrics development to monitor progress for both before and after process redesign. Scorecards will also be tracked and monitored on an on-going basis by the business unit and appropriate executives/officers.
  • Lead development of training materials to teach new processes to front liners, managers and other necessary parties. Ensure that business teams have sufficient trainings, so they can make change stick and continuously improve. HR – training and communications will be heavily involved in developing the training materials.
  • Managed a 50K square foot office space employing 250 workers inclusive of Supervisors, Leaders and Operators.
  • Managed daily production plan and ensure smooth flow in production line in order to meet daily output and meet customers demand.
